Edward H. Schlam, MD is Board-Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He received his medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical center in 1969.  Early in his career Dr. Schlam was an associate working with Dr. Lawrence Frank a Professor and Chair of Dermatology at State University of New York. There Dr. Schlam learned advanced and innovative techniques in clinical and  therapeutic Dermatology. Dr. Schlam has been on the teaching faculty at the University of Miami Medical School, Jackson Memorial Hospital since 1973 and currently serves as an Associate Professor there.

Dr. Schlam is a member of the American Medical Association, Southern Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, Broward County Medical Association, Florida Society of Dermatology, NOAH Worcester Dermatological Society and the international Dermatologic Radiotherapy Society.
